We had a great time last Saturday hosting Animal Justice League for a free pet microchipping event and pet pantry.

Volunteers from Animal Justice League busily microchipped more than 70 cats and dogs from our local community. Why is that important? That means there are seventy animals that can find their way home if they are ever lost.

AJL also brought their pet food pantry, manned by volunteers from Exxon, to our campus. The pet food pantry provides free bags of dog and cat food for any community members who have pets.

They also gave everyone the opportunity to create a goody bag of Christmas treats for their pet.

We would also like to thank Harris County Department of Health for providing Covid Vaccinations on our campus that morning.
