Darrell Ross
Darrell RossPrincipal
Darrell Ross is a Louisiana native but calls Houston, his favorite city, home. He brings 30+ years of experience in education, with 14 years serving as a campus leader. He served as a teacher and coach at MacArthur HS in Aldine ISD.. Mr. Ross spent much of his career as an English teacher and coach basketball and track teams.

His career has led him to serve as assistant principal, associate principal, and principal in several schools across the country with stints in Flint, Michigan; Houston, TX; and Oakland, CA.

“My mission is to bridge the gap from high school to college and career by equipping educators to empower students. In turn, students become self-motivated learners who empower others to succeed,” said Ross.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master’s degree in education/Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Ross also has a principal certification (EC-12) in Texas and California. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

Dr. Torrance Brooks

Dr. Torrance Brooks is a native of Houston, Texas graduating from Eisenhower High School. After graduating from Eisenhower High School, he attended Prairie View A&M University for his Bachelor and Master’s degree and he attended the University of Houston Clear Lake for his Doctorate degree. He brings 27 years of experience in Education. Of his 27 year career, 10 years were spent as a classroom Science teacher and Coach and 17 years as a campus leader.

“My mission here at Eisenhower 9 College Prep is to ensure that all students are receiving an enriching educational experience that prepares them for success in a college setting. Also, my goal is for all students to have choices and opportunities to attend any college that they desire.”

Dr. Brooks is looking forward to a great school year for the students, parents, and the community.

Dr. Estephanie Jaime
Dr. Estephanie Jaime College Access Administrator
Dr. Estefanie Jaime Aufegger earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Science, minoring in Life-Earth Science and Math. Thereafter, she double majored with Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and Education Administration. She continued her education, earning a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. She is recognized at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi for earning all of her degrees in her hometown. In her 25 years of education, Dr. Jaime Aufegger has worked as a Classroom Teacher for Science and Math, Campus Instructional Specialist for Emergent Bilinguals, Assistant Principal of Instructional Leadership, Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction, District Coach for Multilingual Services and currently College Access Administrator with Aldine ISD. Her experiences include providing Professional Development to educators and school/district leaders; Coaching teachers/Instructional Specialists; creating lessons using High-Quality Instructional Material, implementing research-based instructional activities and strategies so that our Emergent Bilingual students have equitable access to a quality educational experience. During her off time, she serves and advocates for her community with the Junior League of The Woodlands, Communications Council as the Holiday Market Digital Media Coordinator and is affiliated with TexTESOL IV as the Conference Registration Chair.
