Hello, my name is...
Information Literacy Specialist
I have been the librarian at Eisenhower Ninth Grade School since the inaugural year. The focus of the library program is to create information literate students. An information literate student is one who understands how to find reliable information in a world exploding with innuendo, opinion, and inaccurate facts. In addition, reading is still the most important piece of an individual's education. Illiteracy equals unemployment in the 21st Century so the library program encourages students to explore literature as well as informational text.
